Granite Arch Staff

The Boss Man.

Bob's love of outdoor activities is what brought him to Granite Arch. That passion is also why he started Above & Beyond, a youth adventure ministry as part of Youth for Christ. Check out http://abyfc.org/ for events and ways to support.

As a two time Ironman racer, Bob will destroy the average person on a bike. If you are up for suffering for a great cause, ask him how you can get in on the Death Valley ride.

Justin on Russell Summit

Justin became attached to mountain sports early in childhood and now spends lot of time sharing his passion with young climbers. As an American Mountain Guides Association certified SPI instuctor, he puts on most of the advanced classes at Granite Arch and coaches the Youth Climbing Team.

The facial hair comes and goes, but the smile is always there. Adam is the force behind Granite Arch's Climbing Club and Home School programs.

He is man of few words, usually working on too little sleep. As our Head routsetter, Matt gets stuff done. Come check out his creativity for yourself with daily new routes.

Addison is the person most likely to insult you, but will make you laugh in the process. As our resident lovable goofball, don't be surprised if you hear someone say, "I didn't know Addison climbed!" Yes, he climbs.

A big person in a little package. Siara keeps our schedule running and organizes our events. Although she's happy to greet everyone at the door, she loves a good excuse to use her "Mean Voice".

Jonas helps run group events and is a pleasure to have in the gym. He is part a large family of climbers. His neighbors are usually confused as to why there are so many ropes and children hanging from the trees.

 Kristin

Kristin is a quiet person who isn't afraid to try anything (but that doesn't keep her from screaming a little while doing it). She helps run the Climbing Team and Club all while keeping our members inspired.

 Ian on Whitney's East Buttress

Ian started climbing with our Homeschool program and took his passion to places few expected. He summited three fourteeners for the season finishing with Rainier. Ian runs our teambuilding groups, parties and helps with specialty classes. Despite what some people may say, he doesn't actually live at Granite Arch.
