Self - Managed
Groups
A reservation is required for groups of 10-20 climbers, even if you don’t require use of the party room or direct staff management. Additionally, there are certain requirements and restrictions that must be met in order to qualify to run a self managed group.
Details:

$25 per climber

All belayers must be belay certified at Granite Arch, pass a belay test, or take a belay class (a belay class will be an additional $10 per participant).

Start times available for self managed groups are:

Mon.-Thurs. 1:00 or 3:00

Fri & Sat. 1:00, 3:00 or 5:00

Sun. 1:00 or 3:00

Groups are allotted 2 hours of climbing time

Pricing is per climber and includes a climbing harness rental for each climber and belay devices for belayers

Please have climbers dress in comfortable clothing and wear tennis shoes

Rock-climbing specific shoe rentals are available for an additional $5 per climber, but not required

Granite Arch does not provide helmets. If anyone in your group wishes to wear a helmet, they must provide their own

A self-managed group does not include use of the party room, and other areas of the gym may not be used for present opening, party food consumption, etc.

Each climber under the age of 18 is required to have a waiver signed by their parent or legal guardian – no exceptions

Rock climbing is a great way to have a memorable birthday! Embrace kids’ natural ability to climb, adventure, and explore by scheduling a party at Granite Arch.
For maximum enjoyment, we recommend a minimum climber age of 6-7 years old.

1.5 hours of Granite Arch staff supervised climbing

Access to our party area and Adventure Village (kid’s play area) for up to 1 hour after you have finished climbing

The party room will open 1 hour after arrival time for set up

Managed Groups
Late-Nighters are an exciting option and great for slightly older groups. They run from 8pm to midnight and are offered with limited availability. This option offers a good amount of flexibility depending on what your group goals are, and GA belay staff will be available for climbers.
